I’ll likely keep this article short given the amount of wrangling it took to get this site live. Anyway, welcome to Summit and Spruce’s official home on the web!

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll keep sharing my work on social media. It’s essential; everyone has the usual apps on their phone. But seeing your creative work between a deluge of unceasing advertising and AI-generated ragebait is demoralizing, to say the least.

I’ll likely put out an article going into more detail on why I made a site (the benefits and massive hurdles), but for now, what can you expect here? A lot, actually:

• Interactive and sorted galleries with rotating work (you can finally zoom into my photos, wow).
• Stories from the travel (country-wide and local) that brought plenty of photos to life. You’ll be getting advice on everything from the best cabaret speakeasy in Montreal to my favorite chocolate factory in middle-of-nowhere Pennsylvania.
• Technical advice on how I do what I do; file formats, editing software, gear, and more. Might be boring to some, might be helpful to photographers out there, who knows!

There’s plenty to come too! A section for one-off projects with a dedicated focus, a store for prints and book releases, as well as a zine I’ll be putting together alongside a few fellow creatives.

I have two new articles in the works: a travel log from exploring Maine, from Acadia National Park to Ogunquit, and a recap of Montreal’s jazz festival. In the meantime, check out the full galllery or learn a bit about me.
